ترامب رجع يثير الجدل من جديد بعد ما نشر/دعم فكرة أن فنزويلا ممكن تبقى “الولاية رقم 51” في أمريكا، في خطوة فتحت أسئلة كبيرة: هل ده مجرد كلام سياسي واستعراض إعلامي؟ ولا في تفكير حقيقي بضم دولة غنية بالنفط زي فنزويلا؟ وفي نفس الوقت، ترامب أعلن دعمه لتعليق أو تخفيض الضريبة الفيدرالية على البنزين مع ارتفاع الأسعار، وهي الضريبة اللي تموّل جزءًا كبيرًا من صندوق الطرق السريعة في أمريكا.
