الدحيح | الهنود الحمر.. هل كانت الأمريكيتان بلا شعب قبل كولومبوس؟

في هذه الحلقة من الدحيح مع أحمد الغندور، نسافر إلى لحظة غيّرت مجرى التاريخ: اكتشاف أمريكا. يظهر الهنود الحمر في “أفلام الغرب” وكأنهم قبائل منعزلة وبدائية وقليلة العدد ومتناثرة في قارتي أمريكا الشمالية والجنوبية، اكتشفهم الرحالة الغربيون مثل كولومبوس. لكن هذه ليست الحقيقة، فالهنود الحمر عاشوا بالملايين على تلك الأرض، حتى إن بعض المستكشفين الأوروبيين جادلوا بأنه لا يمكن استعمار القارتين لأنهما مشغولتان بالناس ولا مكان لموضع قدم. لكن لم تمضِ السنوات حتى تمت إزاحة هؤلاء البشر، وإبادتهم، واستعبادهم بأبشع الطرق.. في هذه الحلقة نطرح سؤالاً بسيطاً: أين اختفى هؤلاء الملايين؟ وماذا حدث لهم؟
